This is a public playground located outside the Vanguard Shopping Center, near MixC mall. It’s one of our favorite playground because it has a large slide, plenty of places to climb, a couple of swings and it’s super close to our home and MixC mall. When we have a reason to visit MixC on an ebike, we usually stop by, play for a while before going to MixC.
This playground can get busy after school. Grandparents would pick up the kids from the school near by and bring them to play. It gets pretty crowded in the evening when families come out for a walk after dinner time. Weekend mornings are often free and but it can get super hot in summer as there are not much shade in the playground (other than the trees along the sidewalk).
The shopping center has a large Vanguard supermarket, the first floor has KFC and Starbucks. Currently, it is renovating and a large gym is opening soon on the first floor. There’s plenty of restaurants and shops near by. There’s a lot of residential compounds in the area so the traffic can get heavy during peak time. If you live near by Coastal or MixC, I would recommend walking or taking an ebike when going to this playground.
